I invented this concept as a training tool for the Nationals. I would force myself to run 2-3 passes at 22 off to build conditioning and to make each pass better than the one previous before allowing myself to go to the next pass (28 off). One day I decided to run 22 ONCE and add a 25 off loop to break the monotony, and to my surprise 22 and 25 felt the same. And after 25, 28 felt no different than either one.
so I added another loop at 30, between 28 and 32, and so on. This is now the only rope I use. Its truly the greatest way to improve and go through shortening loops without noticing the difference from one pass to the next. DONT ski without this rope!
